En reciente encuesta publicada por la revista Entertainment Weekly Homer Simpson se lleva el primer lugar como el personaje más popular del cine y la tv de los últimos 20 años, todo un logro para este hombre animado que con su peculiar estilo ha llegado a formar parte de las familias a lo largo de todo el mundo.

La revista realizó la encuesta entre sus editores y colaboradores con la intención de conseguir una lista de los 100 personajes salidos del cine y la televisión que se hayan quedado grabados en la retina de los espectadores dentro de los últimos 20 años. Aunque estamos muy de acuerdo con la elección del inigualable Homer hay otros nombres que por ahí no marcaron para nada la diferencia.

Por ejemplo encontramos a Lara Croft, Bridget Jones o una chica de la serie Glee que nada tienen que hacer aquí, al menos esa es mi opinión. La lista se abre con Tim Riggins de Friday Night Lights en el puesto 100 para así continuar y encontrarnos con Tony Stark en el puesto 87, casilleros más abajo vemos a Maximus personaje interpretado por el apuesto Russel Crowe en Gladiator.

No crean que en esta revista se les pasó el último furor del cine porque encontramos a Edward Cullen, el vampiro más guapo del cine interpretado por Robert Pattinson en el puesto 53. Y para los amantes de más personajes animados también se ven a Woody de Toy Story y Elmo y Shrek en la lista. Ya en el Top 10 nos encontramos con Bob Esponja, Carrie Bradshaw y Rachel Green ambas protagonistas de sus respectivas series.

Ya en la cima de la lista hay encontramos un personaje relacionado con los vampiros, pero no se trata de la saga Crepúsculo sino más bien una que se dedica a cazar vampiros; hablamos de Buffy que ocupa el puesto 3. Ya en el segundo casillero encontramos al mago más apuesto del cine Harry Potter que nos hechizó a todos su encanto y como lo dijimos desde el comienzo Homer Simpson ocupa la primera posición de este ranking.
